Skye Houseman
Owner
Skye is originally from British Columbia, Canada. He spent most of his childhood growing up at Whistler, where he learned how to ski. When he was 12 yrs. old, his parents decided to move to the United States and travelled all over the western part of the country. In 1984, he moved to Crested Butte with his parents, fell in love with the little mountain ski town, and never left. Skye started his career as a ski instructor in the winter, and an electrician the rest of the time.
In 1997, Skye successfully passed his Master Electricians license and bought Crested Butte Electrical, from Read Hunker, who founded the business in 1978. Skye enjoys spending his free time with his family, alpine skiing, playing ice hockey, fly fishing, and mountain biking.
Oliver Houseman
Service & Repair Scheduler
Oliver was born and raised in Crested Butte. He started working for CB Electrical during his time off in high school and continued to do so in the summers while attending the University of Redlands, where he studied sustainable business. Oliver then completed an 18-month electrical education program while working and living in Los Angeles. After experiencing L.A. he decided to move back to the Gunnison valley. His time outside of work is spent mountain biking and hiking in the warmer months and skiing, snowmobiling, or playing hockey during the winter.
Tom Consentino
Service & Repair Estimator
After graduating from the University of NH with a Mathematics degree, Tom left the east for Colorado to work as a snowboard instructor and restaurant manager. He started electrical work in the early 90’s, and after spending 18 years working in the Vail and Breckenridge areas, he moved to Crested Butte. He has been with Crested Butte Electrical since 2015.
Erica White
Office Manager
Erika has worked at Crested Butte Electrical since 2012 and is currently the office manager. She has been resident of Crested Butte for over 20 years and has owned a wedding cake and landscape business before joining Crested Butte Electrical. She enjoys skiing, running and hiking in her off time.
